"Shimano is still at the top of its game—the XT and XTR models have a bright future ahead of them!"
"Great—the delivery was on time and the item was exactly as expected. The instructions are thorough, and the packaging was in perfect condition."
"I really have no complaints. The quality is top-notch, and so is the braking. The lever adjustment lets you tailor it to your riding style. The brake feel is perfect for me: smooth at first but powerful as you apply more pressure. No matter the conditions, braking performance remains consistent (rain/wet). I highly recommend it."
"It really feels different from my standard Shimano Deore brakes. I cut the hose following a few tutorials, and it went off without a hitch."
"I bought the Shimano XT M8000 brakes; they're a high-quality product—very reliable, powerful, and great value for the money."
"For me, the XT brake system strikes the right balance—it provides reliable stopping power in all conditions, whether on dry roads in the summer or in the mud of a winter in Brittany. It’s easy to modulate during cross-country riding."
"Perfect, ready to use. I can't wait for my stock rear brake to give out so I can replace it with the XT M8000."
"Hello, I bought a used IBIS MOJO HD. I chose the XT brakes based on experience. They’re so effective that I ordered a new complete front and rear set. But this time with 203mm rotors on both the front and rear. I love how they bite."
"Installed as a 200mm front and rear set on an electric mountain bike (you need that much to stop the combined 130 kg of the bike and rider), with discs from the same series, after several rides, no fading, no overheating even at the end of a (long) descent. The bite is sharp but progressive—it’s not ON/OFF—but be careful not to go in too aggressively, or you’re guaranteed to hit the ground. Although it’s widely touted that bleeding isn’t necessary when adjusting the line length, a good bleed (using the essential funnel tool) helped eliminate the slightly spongy feel at the end of the ride."
"Wow, honestly, I wasn't expecting that—it brakes like crazy after a little break-in period. Anyway, after a couple of rides, I can say it's absolutely amazing."
