"When paired with a high-performance rotor like the Shimano MT800, you get powerful, consistent, and progressive braking. Despite the 4-piston design, the caliper remains compact compared to Magura models, which don’t fit on all bikes (I got caught out… ) The levers are comfortable, ergonomic, and feature two adjustments (adjusting the pad-to-rotor clearance and moving the lever closer to the handlebar). Download the installation manual from the Shimano website for the oil-filling/air-bleeding procedure to ensure optimal system performance. XT remains a good balance between price and performance, as always."
