The SHIMANO XT RD-T8000 10V Long Cage Rear Derailleur is designed for trekking and provides fast, reliable shifting tailored to cycle touring, bikepacking and intensive commuting.

For the first time in a trekking range, it features Shadow RD technology, with a flat profile that reduces exposure to impacts and ensures optimal chain-tension adjustment, including on cobbles and off-road. Its long cage allows single-, double- or triple-chainring setups depending on the desired configuration.

Compatible with HG-X 10-speed chains as well as any standard 10-speed chain, it mounts directly or on a conventional derailleur hanger for maximum versatility.
