Description
The FIZIK R4 Overcurve road shoes have been developed and designed for cyclists looking for a model that is easy to put on, high-performing and versatile.
This model offers a blend of technologies providing comfort, lightness and efficiency. The Overcurve is a shoe design with an offset collar surrounding the ankle, which traces the natural misalignment of the lateral and medial malleolar bumps, allowing a perfect fit to the foot. In addition, these shoes benefit from a Boa IP1 closure system that helps keep the foot securely in place during effort.
The moderately stiff R4 nylon outsole reinforced with 15% carbon fibre will provide a good balance between comfort and efficiency on both the smooth roads of Paris and the cobblestones of Roubaix. It will also provide good power transfer and excellent ventilation. Meanwhile, the lightweight Mesh upper ensures optimal thermal regulation.

Comfortable without more, good value for money
"The fit is really comfortable. But the softness of the sole stops before the toes, for ventilation. I was looking for comfort shoes for long distances and ironman (sore metatarsals), we'll see how it goes over time but for now on the short it's fine. Likewise, the tightening system is royal but doesn't seem super-strong for everyday use."
