Description

The NORTHWAVE CELSIUS R GTX road shoes are designed to keep your feet warm and perfectly insulated during your cycling rides in mild winters. Made with the Pique Gore-Tex® membrane, they feature an additional lining at the toe for maximum insulation. Power transfer is optimised thanks to the NRG Air Carbon Reinforced sole, which has a stiffness index of 8.0, guaranteeing efficient power transfer.

The upper is built with an overlap design, reducing aerodynamic drag by wrapping the foot evenly without creating pressure points. This design allows every watt of power to be transferred while eliminating any energy loss. The toe is reinforced with anti-abrasion TPU, while the closure system, secured by the SLW2 dial, allows precise and intuitive adjustment, with step-by-step release.

For added comfort and protection, the Easyfit Climaflex collar combines the flexibility of the Gore-Tex Rattler® membrane with the thermal insulation of neoprene, offering excellent mobility and a perfect fit. Heel support and positioning are guaranteed by an anatomical footbed and a solid thermoformed heel counter. Additionally, the Arctic 4Layer insole in EVA, aluminium and fleece provides superior thermal insulation. For increased safety, 360° reflective inserts offer excellent visibility on the road.

How to take measurements:

- To choose the right size, measure your foot at the end of the day.
- Measure the distance between the tip of the big toe and the outermost part of the heel.
If between two sizes:
- for a fitted cut, go one size down.
- for a looser fit, go one size up.
