Description

SHIMANO RC703 road shoes are designed to surpass racing bike performance.

The lacing path and BOA® tightening system ensure balanced forefoot comfort. In addition, the integrated midsole and upper construction offer an unrivalled level of fit, stability and lightweight performance. The low-profile midsole promotes foot stabilization, optimizes power transfer and enhances pedaling efficiency.

The wrap-around upper structure reduces overlap, offering a glove-like fit. What's more, manufacturing is more responsible, with 36% recycled mesh used for the upper and midsole, contributing to a more sustainable approach. The synthetic leather upper, with its micro-perforated structure, ensures good ventilation and an optimal fit. Finally, the lightweight nylon sole, reinforced with fiberglass, provides enhanced power transfer for maximum performance.

Large sizes feature a wide toe circumference last.

"Très bien. Le pied est bien tenu par le système boa. Bonne sensation et aération. Attention, la chaussure est enveloppante et ne peut pas être largement ouverte comme celles avec des sangles velcros, donc choisir la taille qui convient mérite un peu de réflexion en fonction de l usage été ou hiver."

"La qualité de fabrication de ces chaussures est évidente. Beaux matériaux, protection de la pointe et du talon (non amovible) efficaces. Après plusieurs centaines de kilomètres le confort est parfait et la rigidité suffisante. Le système de serrage est très ergonomique. S'agissant de la taille je fais du 42 en chaussures de ville, du 43,5 en Mavic, du 43 sur d'anciennes chaussures Shimano et du 43 sur des Van Rysel. Je les ai prises en 43 et la taille est parfaite."
