For this second operation, the wrench is mounted on the spoke nipples. Cassette simply by turning the pedals. A force of 40 Nm is transmitted through the chain, enabling easy disassembly of the freewheel.

It replaces heavy and cumbersome equipment (chain whip + cassette remover + wrench). I tested it on my bike (Surly Long Haul Trucker frame). It works without a hitch.
