Description

The SRAM Centerline floating disc rotor, replacing the AVID HS1, has been designed to maintain a uniform friction zone during rotation, which limits vibrations and noise. You thus benefit from effective, consistent and quieter braking. Its floating design allows it to dissipate heat more easily and better absorb mechanical stress.

This version features a standard 6-bolt fixing and comes with 6 titanium bolts. It has the distinctive feature of rounded edges.

Perfect and good quality

"Perfect and good quality"

Yann C. (5/5)

Very good brake disc

"Good quality disc, quieter than its non-floating version, supplied with titanium screws. It's a pity that one of the two discs purchased is warped. Lack of factory inspection? One star less! Replacing a warped disc with a new warped disc ... disappointing."

Fafda (4/5)

Super disc...

"Nothing to say. No fog, great quality, top of the range SRAM..."

Laller (5/5)

Top

"The disc is well finished and comes with the 6 fixing screws which have threadlocker already applied. Once broken in (an important step), braking is progressive and has good bite."

Michon (5/5)

Improved braking

"I bought these discs to improve my braking and especially to eliminate noise and vibrations. I am satisfied, the discs are well finished and supplied with good quality screws. Braking with more bite and more endurance."

Francis1970 (5/5)

Very good buy

"Great design, quality screws. Very satisfied even if the price is frankly high."

Nidk (5/5)

(Relatively) powerful braking

"I've been using a pair for several months now in 160mm Couplé with Sram Guide RS (4 pistons) on an XC bike. They handle long modulated braking well, as well as dry and very firm braking. They don't seem to overheat, and braking remains reliable and predictive. And they rarely rub and don't seem to warp. On the other hand, I don't feel any obvious difference with the non-floating version. Which is almost half the price. This is certainly due to the small diameter and my own experience..."

Qyoon (4/5)

good disks

"no big difference in braking compared to non-floating centerline discs. i changed the discs for weight savings (-14 grs per disc), and aesthetics."

Pierre80 (5/5)

Light

"The weight saving compared to the original is noticeable in the hand alone, although it was a sram disc, not a "floating" one. Moreover, this term is not accurate, since the disc doesn't move like floating systems do on motorcycles (it's the disc or caliper that moves on motorcycles)."

Tiloulou (5/5)

Satisfactory product

"Satisfactory because very light and titanium screws included. Not exceptional finish of the grainy black aluminium part. Braking a little less powerful than with shimano rt86".
