Description

The Rainbow version of the SRAM Code RSC front brake is the most powerful offered by the American manufacturer! Offering an estimated 15% more power than the Guide, it's ideal for serious mountain biking. It's also ideal for electric-assist mountain bikes, whose greater weight requires a super-efficient braking system.

Designed in forged aluminum, the Code RSC caliper houses 4 pistons of 15 and 16 mm diameter, even larger than those of the Guide. It benefits from Heat Shield technology, which reduces heat transfer from the pad to its body during braking, for even more effective high-temperature management. The caliper is also compatible with the Bleeding Edge kit, which facilitates bleeding operations in the hydraulic system.

The Matchmaker X system-compatible lever features a tool-free adjustable guard, allowing the contact point with the pads to be set. Above all, it features Swing Link, which helps eliminate the dead zone of braking while preserving dosage, to offer a precise, powerful yet progressive feel.
