Reviews

Clear SRAM

"Quick and effective flushing, but a bit expensive and a hassle to have to buy a nozzle for each caliper."

Seb1340 (4/5)

great

"When using it, I'm wondering how to properly maintain the bleed nipple. Specifically, should I leave the DOT fluid in the nipple, or should I drain it completely and clean it with a paper towel?"

Edo75 (5/5)

not compatible with older Avid syringes

"The tip that screws onto the syringe is not compatible."

Uncle (2/5)

Good, but a little expensive

"Expensive, but essential for bleeding an SRAM G2 RSC brake. The bleeding process is, however, much faster than with my old Avid Elixirs."

Rabbitoo (4/5)

Expensive but useful

"It's useful because without it, it's hard to bleed the calipers. That said, I think the price is high. Not cool of SRAM."

Me25 (4/5)

Scandalously SRAM

"A total rip-off from SRAM: the new caliper connectors are essential for bleeding your brakes, but the connectors on the syringes are only available for the pro-grade syringes, so you have to improvise to use them without buying the whole kit. At the price they’re selling for 5 cm of hose and two connectors, it’s a real scandal. Bleeding SRAM brakes is always a nightmare, in short, I’m seriously considering switching back to Shimano, mainly for the simplified bleeding process and for a more direct bite. Otherwise, as for the Probike service, no complaints,"

Modimitri (1/5)

Effective but expensive

"Required to properly bleed brakes equipped with this proprietary system"

Glader (5/5)

For Ultimate Brake Bleeding

"Another tool in the toolbox. Simple and effective."

Rico (5/5)

As needed

"Suitable for R-series guide brakes. However, I had to replace the tip to fit the syringe."

Danielp (4/5)

Essential and super handy

"Essential for bleeding the SRAM Red Etap HRD; very practical. A bit pricey."

Nidamapy (5/5)
