The derailleur body adopts a straight parallelogram design, called the X-HorizonThe X-Horizon design limits movement on the horizontal axis to prevent inappropriate gear changes, while smoothing out gear shifting for appreciable gains in efficiency.

Offering high-performance, long-lasting gear shifting, the X-Horizon X-Sync design on the teeth of the lower sprocket keeps the chain perfectly in place during shifting, even when slackened. Finally, the Cage Lock system locks the derailleur clevis so you can mount and dismount the rear wheel in no time at all.
