Description
The Title CR1 crank spindle is the component that makes the CR1 system modular. Sold separately in the three lengths of the range, it is the only part you need to change to swap a crankset from one bike to another.
The choice of length depends on the frame. The 130 mm spindle (52 mm chainline, 168.5 mm Q-factor, 104 g) suits dirt jump, cross-country and trail frames in 135, 142 or 148 mm Boost. The 136 mm spindle (55 mm chainline, 174.5 mm Q-factor, 107 g) is intended for 29-inch trail and enduro frames with wide chainstays, and is mandatory for SRAM T-Type. The 145 mm spindle (56.5 mm chainline, 183.5 mm Q-factor, 113 g) is designed for downhill and Super Boost+ frames with 157 mm rear spacing.
29 mm diameter across all three versions, exclusively for SRAM DUB bottom brackets. Installation is done using an 8 mm hex key, tightened to 55 Nm, after thoroughly greasing the non-drive-side crank arm. Please note: the 145 mm spindle requires a 6 mm offset chainring to maintain its chainline.
