Description
The Title single speed kit converts a rear wheel with a cassette to a single-sprocket drivetrain. It is aimed at dirt jumpers and downhill bikes: no derailleur, no cassette, no shifter — fewer parts to adjust, and nothing hanging beneath the bike to catch on first contact.
The kit includes a 13-tooth steel sprocket, a 7075-T6 threaded lock ring, a steel washer, two CNC-machined 6061-T6 guide plates and a complete set of spacers: three 5 mm, one 3.5 mm and two 2 mm, all in 6061-T6. These are what allow you to adjust the chainline to the millimetre: stack them on either side of the sprocket until the chain runs perfectly straight, which determines both the lifespan of the drivetrain and quiet operation.
Mandatory compatibility: Shimano HG freehub body. The kit works neither on SRAM XD nor on Shimano MicroSpline — check this before ordering, as it is the main cause of error with this type of product. Installation is completed using a cassette lockring tool, with the lockring tightened to 40 Nm. The chrome finish catches the light and matches a polished build.
