Description
The Mountain TT_G (G for Gauge/Manometer) pump features Topeak's revolutionary Twin Turbo technology. Unlike a conventional pump, which only pushes air during the compression phase, TT technology captures air during extension and compresses it in the cylinder, releasing it during push.
The result? You inflate your high-volume mountain bike tires 50% faster and with much less effort, even at higher pressures. The addition of a built-in analog pressure gauge on the pump body lets you check your pressure in real time on the trail, avoiding pinch flats or a too-hard tire that bounces.
Is it really more efficient than a standard pump? Absolutely. On a mountain bike, inflating a 2.4" wide tire with a small conventional pump can take hundreds of strokes. The Mountain TT_G cuts this number in half thanks to its internal pre-compression system.
Is the pressure gauge accurate for tubeless tires? Yes, because it's specifically graduated down to 60 psi. This gives a much finer reading between 1.5 and 2.5 bar than a road pressure gauge which would go up to 160 psi.
Can it be used on a road bike? It will work (Presta valve compatible), but it's limited to 4 bar (60 psi). So it's not suitable for high-pressure road tires, but it's perfect for Gravel and Bikepacking.
