Description
The TOPEAK Nano AirBooster L 25G CO2 Percutor takes Topeak's most compact inflation head (the Nano AirBooster) and combines it with an original 25g cartridge. This kit is designed for those who ride wide tires (MTB 29", 27.5+ or large Gravel tires) where a standard 16g cartridge is often insufficient to achieve correct rolling pressure.
The CNC aluminum head is incredibly small and light. It screws onto the cartridge for controlled inflation: air is only released when pressure is applied to the tire valve.
Why choose this 25g kit rather than the standard 16g? If you have a mountain bike tire (eg: 29 x 2.20), a 16g cartridge will only give you around 1.2 bar. The 25g cartridge will give you around 2.1 bar, which is enough to finish your ride without having to top up by hand.
Is the head different from the "16G" version? No, the Nano AirBooster head is exactly the same. Only the cartridge and silicone sleeve supplied in the pack change to fit the larger diameter 25g cartridge.
