The Saddle Bag USWE Roll Top Saddle Bag is an aerodynamic and spacious saddle bag, developed specifically for bikepacking, gravel and lightweight self-sufficient cycle touring. Positioned in line with the saddle, it makes use of the space above the rear wheel to carry bulky items (spare clothes, thermal jacket, lightweight bivouac gear) without affecting the bike's lateral wind resistance.

Built to withstand long journeys in the rain, this bag features a 100% waterproof construction with heat-welded seams and a roll-top closure (Roll-top). This zip-free closure system guarantees absolute waterproofing against heavy downpours and constant spray from the rear wheel. Its reinforced attachment system combines robust straps for the saddle rails and a wide grip band for the seatpost, ensuring excellent retention to minimise the pendulum effect when pedalling out of the saddle.

Does the bag sway from side to side when pedalling hard? This is the challenge with all bikepacking saddle bags. USWE has integrated rigid internal panels that structure the bag along with ultra-powerful compression straps. To minimise the pendulum effect as much as possible, make sure to place the heaviest items (cookware, tools) right at the bottom of the bag, as close as possible to the seatpost, and keep light items (down jacket, sleeping bag) towards the rear end.

Are the fixings compatible with carbon seatposts? Yes. The strap that wraps around the seatpost is made from a soft, non-slip material that does not damage delicate surfaces. However, as a precaution and to avoid friction caused by fine trail dust, we recommend placing a piece of transparent protective adhesive film on your seatpost where the strap will sit.

Is it compatible with a dropper seatpost? Due to its bulky attachment around the seatpost, this model is not recommended for direct use on an active dropper post, as it risks limiting its travel or damaging the stanchion. If you need to use it on a mountain bike fitted with a dropper post, it is essential to add a specific rigid adapter (such as a DP20 Max or a protective collar) to isolate the strap from the stanchion.
