USWE ZULO 2 L Black Hip Pack

The USWE Zulo 2L in standard version is a premium hydration belt specially designed for training and competition in mild to warm conditions. It offers a perfect alternative to a backpack by completely freeing the shoulders and upper body, while lowering the centre of gravity to hip level to maximise your agility on the bike.

Unlike the Winter version, this model focuses on maximum lightness and breathability. Its back panel features a highly ventilated net mesh structure (mesh) that evacuates perspiration optimally during intense efforts in the sun. It integrates a 1.0-litre Hydrapak bladder with an ultra-practical magnetic tube attachment system on the belt, as well as clever compartments for your tools and nutrition.

What is the main difference between this version and the Winter version? This standard (summer) model prioritises coolness: its back panel is highly aerated to dissipate body heat and its hydration tube is standard (non-insulated) to remain as lightweight as possible. In contrast, the Winter version has a full windproof back panel to protect against the cold and a neoprene-covered tube to prevent freezing.

Do you sweat a lot wearing this belt in the height of summer? That is the whole advantage of the standard Zulo 2L. By keeping your shoulders and your entire back free, you dissipate heat far more effectively than with a conventional backpack. The mesh used on the belt is one of the most breathable on the market, which greatly reduces the feeling of clamminess around the hips.

Does the belt slip when the hydration bladder is fully loaded? No. Thanks to the lateral compression system and the anatomical shape of the waist pack, the load rests directly on the hip bones. Even with 1.0 litre of water and your tools inside, the belt remains perfectly locked in place and does not slide down over the buttocks during exercise.
