The best tire for rocky terrain

"Used at 1.0 kg of rear tire pressure, excellent traction on rocky climbs. Very good wear resistance—I've already ridden over 1,500 km and there are still a few millimeters of tread left."

The good and the not-so-good

"Mounted on an e-MTB used for enduro riding in the south of France, this tire is very sturdy—perhaps a bit too much so. Due to its fairly high stiffness, it doesn’t flex much on the trail, and its grip on loose terrain and technical climbs could be improved. Even at 1.4 bar, the tire feels very hard. In comparison, I preferred the grip of the Dissector with an Exo casing at 1.8 bar and the same width. In fact, it measures smaller than the Maxxis when inflated to the same pressure on the same rim: Maxxis 67mm, Vittoria 62mm. Wear seems fairly rapid to me, comparable to the Michelin Schwable."
