WTB KOM TOUGH i30 27.5" 30mm Rim

The WTB KOM Tough rims are extruded from a premium alloy to offer maximum durability at a reasonable weight. Its I-Beam construction has evolved to further reinforce the rim with dual-support spokes that provide increased strength and stiffness for the world's most aggressive riders.

The rim is made from a 6069 aluminium alloy with excellent properties. It offers a perfect balance between stiffness and shock absorption. This rim is predominantly used in the Enduro World Series. 

This rim benefits from TCS 2.0 technology. Built on the proven Tubeless Compatible system, it features a more robust, easy-to-install and reliable tubeless system. A recessed channel along the centre of TCS 2.0 rims allows the installation of the all-new Solid Strip, which prevents the tubeless tape from sagging at the spoke holes and results in a smooth and consistent interface between the tyre and the rim.

The tubeless sealant allows the use of a lightweight tyre casing while providing superior puncture protection. The TCS tape offers an airtight seal that eliminates the need for an inner tube to retain air in the tyre.

The on-ramp bead construction allows for a consistent fit between the rim and tyre for easy installation and inflation. It also allows riders to easily move the tyre bead to the centre of the rim before removing the tyre. Designed around ETRTO standards, Beadlock offers the optimal tubeless rim profile and diameter to ensure superior tyre fit and retention.

The 4D angular spoke drilling eliminates stress and lateral loads, distributing tension more evenly over a larger surface area. The spoke bed has been updated to provide a more compatible interface between the spoke and the rim.
