Handcrafted in Germany specially for Gravel and adventure, the CONTINENTAL Terra Trail 700x40c tyre is robust, fast and high-performing on all types of terrain. It features a more aggressive tread pattern and larger knobs than the Terra Speed model for better grip on challenging terrain.
Built around a 240 TPI casing (4 x 60 TPI layers) under the tread and 180 TPI (3x60) at the sidewalls, the Terra Speed also features the premium Black Chili compound, guaranteeing exceptional grip while allowing maximum speed.
This model also incorporates a protective layer that greatly reduces the risk of cuts and punctures (including at low pressure) while adding very little weight. Another key advantage of this product is that it can be mounted without an inner tube thanks to Tubeless Ready technology, which further reduces the risk of punctures.
