The SDG GRIPS Thrice OC (for Oversize Center) are premium grips that stand out with a slightly thicker and ergonomic profile. Designed to reduce hand fatigue and numbness, they use an exclusive SDG dual-density rubber compound.
The particularity of this model lies in its internal structure: the core is thinned at the ends to allow more rubber where the hand needs cushioning, while the single clamp Lock-on locking system ensures a solid fix on the handlebar. Why choose a 33 mm diameter? A wider grip allows you to "grip" the handlebar less tightly to maintain control. This is a huge help for riders with large hands or those who suffer from compartment syndrome and forearm pain.
Are they compatible with carbon handlebars? Yes, SDG's Lock-on system is designed to be safely tightened on both aluminium and carbon handlebars. Simply make sure to respect the recommended tightening torque (generally 2-3 Nm).
